Private SSL

SSL encrypts confidential data such as credit card numbers and passwords. Either a shared SSL or a private SSL is required when taking credit cards off your site. You are welcome to provide us with the SSL and we will install it for a $30 charge, or you can purchase one directly from us for $99.00 per year.

In addition to the installation charge, your private SSL requires a dedicated IP address addon for $3.00 per month.

Please note that a SSL install requires an IP change, your computer might show the site as down as it will be remembering the old IP. Please keep in mind that this will go away in a few hours and will only affect you. Please email support for instructions on how to manually cause Windows to refresh its internal cache of DNS entries if you would like to try to speed that up.
